Blue Sky For A Change

The neighbor's pampas grass is so pretty today, against a little bit of blue sky.    Haven't seen any blue for a  week now, and after about six inches of rain my yard is now saturated.    It's like walking on a soaked sponge.

  1. While our sky aint quite as blue as your sky no water is falling out of it. It rained out the little ones first cheer gig yesterday.

    1. Awww, Suthern! I'm sorry your cheerleader got rained out! It sucks to get excited about something, and your plans get rained on. It's happened a lot here lately in my area.

Do I live near the coast? I WISH! I'm in South Central Georgia, and a looong way from the coast. The blog is called From The Seaboard Side because I live on what they call The Seaboard Side of the Seaboard Coastline railroad tracks. I get "White Trash" status for that.

  2. Nice picture! Yeah it rained all day Friday and Saturday. In fact even though today was mostly sunny its pouring right now.

As for the rain Friday, it was the last day of summer for my daughter and all her friends were busy and she was stuck inside.

It also happened to be the day I started an online course. What fun it was trying to get organized with her coming to me every ten minutes about something.

    1. Beach Bum: I know the feeling well! I'd get started on something, and try to focus on it and get it all together, and every few minutes I'd hear: "Mama? Mama? Mama?"

Then, when they grow up, they never call. Unless their world goes topsy-turvey.
